Russell E. "Russ" Handlon, 95 of Indianapolis passed away July 24, 2018. Russ was born July 23, 1923 in Indianapolis to Howard Handlon and Rebecca (Davis) Carey who have preceded him in death. He was also preceded by his daughter, Bonnie Jean Dargy; long time companion, Betty Drake; grandchild, David Farris and step children, Easter Drake and Robert Drake. Mr. Handlon was an Army Veteran of WW II. Survivors include his son, Russell L. (Sue) Handlon; step sons, John, Charlie, Carl Drake; stepdaughters, Sharon Ross, Judy Campbell, Claudine (Bill) Summers; grandchildren, Annisa (Kevin) Huntsman, Russell L. Handlon Jr, Michael Farris, Amanda Norman.

Graveside services are Noon Friday, July 27, 2018 at Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown, IN. Online condolences may be offered at usherfuneralhome.com
