Marshall Lee Crafton, 85 of Indianapolis passed away October 26, 2018 at Countryside Meadows in Avon, Indiana. He was born July 10, 1933 in Hanover, Indiana to Robert Marshall Crafton and Jessie Fritzler who have preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Joanne Crouse Crafton; daughters, Debra Ann Larson, Mary Deneice Letizia; 1 grandson and 3 great grandchildren. Marshall worked as a supervisor at Indianapolis Power and Light for 26 years. He retired in 1995. He was a Navy Veteran having served on a Navy destroyer from 1952-1957. He was discharged with the rank of Second Class Petty Officer. Marshall enjoyed golf, dancing, boating, trivia games and Notre Dame football and Indiana University basketball
Survivors include his wife, Janet (Drumm) Crafton; sons, Chris (Helen) Crafton, James (Jessie) Crafton; daughters, Ruthie (Mike) Plummer, Tammy (Jeff) Wright, Kim (Gary) Dennison; 9 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, 23 great grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren on the way and one great great grandchild on the way.
Services for Marshall are 1pm Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at the Friendly Church of the Nazarene, 860 S. Holmes Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46221. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 11am-1pm on Tuesday at the church. Online condolences may be offered at usherfuneralhome.com
