James T McClure

James T. "Whitey" McClure, 67 of Indianapolis passed away June 6, 2018.  He was born September 14, 1950 in Indianapolis to Ralph and Doris (Clapp) McClure who have preceded him in death.  James was self employed having worked as a Computer Systems Analyst prior to his retirement.  He was an Army Veteran and served in the Vietnam War.  His greatest joy came from being a devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather.  He is survived by his son, Allen (Leslie) McClure; daughters, Tammy (Kevin) DePew, Mindy J. McClure; sister, Betty (Allen) Harris; grandchildren, Josh McClure, Jessie Fleming, Jordan Vickers, Grace McClure, Bennett McClure, Macie DePew, Jonathan DePew, Bryana Chambers, Tyler Chambers; great grandchildren, Oliver Hernandez, Rian Chambers; niece Laura Harris and nephew, AJ Harris.

A Memorial Gathering for James will be held from 6pm-8pm Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the Usher Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Jim's Life will take place at 7pm that evening.  Online condolences may be offered at usherfuneralhome.com
