Hugh John Delaney

Hugh John Delaney, 84 of Plainfield, formerly of Indianapolis passed away December 19, 2017.  Hugh John was born February 17, 1933 in Indianapolis to Hugh and Isabel Delaney.  He was a printer by trade.  He retired from Hollenbeck Printing where he had worked as the Plant Manager,  Hugh John was a Korean War veteran and was a 1951 graduate of Cathedral High School.  

Hugh John was preceded in death by his sisters, Geraldine Csire and Joan Forrest. He is survived by his companion, Madelyn Harwood; sister, Marie Donahue; brother, James (Jo Ann) Delaney; 16 nieces and nephews along with many great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Hugh John's Life is 4:30pm Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Usher Funeral Home.  Friends may call from 2pm until the time of services on Saturday.  Memorial contributions in Hugh John's memory may be made to either the Little Sisters of the Poor or the the Sisters of Providence.
