Thelma W. (Weisbach) Kirk

Thelma W. Kirk, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2015 surrounded by family and loved ones.  Thelma was born October 7, 1919 in Avon, Indiana to George and Mary Weisbach.  She was the co-founder and co-owner of Eagledale Florist with her husband Clarence.  She was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Thelma was also a beautiful homemaker, quilt sewer, sassy friend and a mean skip-bo player

Thelma was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years Clarence R. Kirk, and by her grandson, Peter Kirk.  She is survived by her boyfriend, William Harvey Ragan; son, Herschel R. (Nancy) Kirk; daughter, Brenda K. (Leonard) Outcalt; grandchildren, Tiffany K. Wesseler, Jennifer L. Kirk, Meredith E. Overton, and Melanie M. (Michael) Block-Thralls; great grandchildren, Sam and Jack Overton.

Services for Thelma are 2:30pm Thursday, May 28, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Entombment will follow in Washington Park North Cemetery.  Friends may call from 4-7pm Wednesday, May 27 at the Usher Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to St. Vincent DePaul Society.  Online condolences at usherfuneralhome.com
