ROSEMARY WAS A VERY SPECIAL WOMAN.  SPIRITED, INTELLIGENT AND
YET HUMBLE. SHE WAS PERCEPTIVE IN "KNOWING PEOPLE". ALTHOUGH SHE WAS MY EX-SISTER-IN-LAW, SHE WAS A GOOD FRIEND. I HAVE MANY HAPPY MEMORIES OF TIMES SPENT IN PAST YEARS. ROSEMARYS COURAGE  WILL BE REMEMBERED. HER UNWAVERING FAITH WAS A BEACON UPON 'TROUBLED WATERS'. AS SHE  IS FREE FROM SUFFERING MAY HER FREE SPIRIT FIND THAT 'SPECIAL PLACE ' IN HEAVENLY REALMS......

Rosemary was one of a kind.  There will not be another like her.  I'm blessed to have been able to call her "friend".  I'll miss you Rosemary.

I personally have not met Rosemary before but she is my great aunt. I have heard so many wonderful stories about her and how wonderful a person she was. I honestly don't remember meeting any of the Mahoney but I know you all are at a loss and will miss her dearly so I give my condolences. I only wish I could have had the pleasure to meet her.

I met Rosemary in 2008 at the lake in Brown County. We spent many days, hours and weekends together fishing. She loved to be on our boat fishing and talking all day long. We could sit there for 8 hours in the hot sun and never know that time was passing. She taught me how to fish and enjoy life outside. We always enjoyed having her over for lunchs at the lake on the back deck. She really loved our Crystal Light Fruit punch! Every Sunday we watched the Colts together. She was funny and a straight shooter. I will think of her every time I am here by the lake. I wrote a poem for her and would like to share it:
My Fishing Buddy
I will think of you as I turn down the gravel road and pass by your beautifully shaded drive
I will think of you when I grab my fishing pole, tackle box and bait
I will think of you with every step that I take down the trail to the lake
I will think of you as my reel swishes through the air and the hook and sinker hit the water with a splash
I will think of you when I catch “the big one” that you always spoke of
I will think of you when I don’t have you to take the fish off the hook for me anymore
I will think of you on a warm summer’s day when I am fishing from my boat and you are not there with me
I will think of you every time I walk to my dock and look across the way and your chair is empty on your dock
I will miss you but I know that somewhere in heaven you will be fishing for an eternity and you will be there waiting for me
You will smile from afar when I catch my fish and say “good girl” to yourself as you watch me from heaven
And when I get to heaven too, you will be there by a lake on a warm summer’s day smiling and waving
and we will fish together once again

Thank you for influencing my life

We will all miss you greatly.   May God watch over you, and the rest of the family. There were so many wonderful times, we had together, at the lake, visiting and fishing.  There were so many many years of Holidays we spent together. You watched over Me since I was a child, going many places with me. You gave me my first car, and taught me many things about life, and living.  Your Loving Brother Norm, and my wife Kay.
