Nicholas Long

   Nicholas Long, 65 of Indianapolis passed away October 14, 2016.  Nick was born February 28, 1951 to Robert and Loretta Long who have preceded him in death.  He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Vince, Richard, Robert Long. 

   Nick was retired after 35 years service from the United States Postal Service where he had worked as a letter carrier.  Nick was a veteran of the United States Navy and was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

   He is survived by his wife, Theresa Swiergiel Long; son, Justin Joseph Long; daughters, Tina (Ray) Stamper, Amber Long; sisters, Mary Ann Masner, Elise Hopson, Connie Gregory; brothers, Larry Long, Scott Long, William Long, Thomas Long, Gregory Long, Ronnie Long; grandchildren, Sydney Long, Collin Long, Lukas Cepas - Long, Elijah Stamper.

   Services for Nick are 3:30pm Saturday, October 22, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Friends may call from 4-8pm Friday at the Usher Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be offered at usherfuneralhome.com
