As a UK-based supplier of chemical intermediates to Eli Lilly, and knowing Joe since 1980 when I met him through Mike Phillips, I would like to say what a pleasure it was knowing Joe.
As a Purchasing man, he well deserved his reputation as a giant within the chemical industry and I always looked forward to meeting up with him.
He loved his cars and very much enjoyed driving my BMW when in the UK.
Joe was one of life's true gentleman and I feel very lucky to have enjoyed his company over so many years.

I met Joe through his good friend, neighbor Doug Alkire in 2002. We all shared a love for music. Joe was affectionately and deeply rooted in Jazz and Blues. I always enjoyed talking early Jazz with Joe, as he was very knowledgeable and passionate. May God Bless Joe and his family. Jay A. Clevenger

Thank you for visiting the Joseph M. Hunt Memorial Page.
Dad, on numberous occasions, expressed a desire to celebrate a person's life rather than mourn their passing. To comply with Dad's wishes, he is to be cremated and we are not holding formal services. We will be hosting an informal gathering for friends and family at his former residence on Sunday, March 3rd at 1:00. If you knew Dad and would like more information, please contact me at bomazani@sbcglobal.net.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations made in Dad's honor to one of his favorite charities, Indiana Children's Wish Fund, 6435 Castleway West Drive Ste 130, Indianapolis, IN 46250. www.indianachildrenswishfund.org
