Earl G Mires

MIRES, EARL G.

Age 88, of Indianapolis passed away peacefully at the home of his loving and caring companion Ms. Yvonne Higdon on Sep 30, 2016.  He is proceeded in death by his wife of 52 years Audrey T. Mires, and is survived by his sons Michael Mires (Nancy Day) and Gary Mires (Terri Anderson), stepsons William and Robert Helfrich, and Maurice Smith.  He was known to everyone as a kind and gentle man, he was very funny and never met a stranger.  He loved Indiana Hoosiers basketball and NASCAR racing. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 5, 2016, 11:30am at St. Joseph Catholic Church
