David Lee Worton

David Lee "Gravy" Worton, 75 of Avon passed away November 14, 2016.  David was born December 12, 1940 in Indianapolis.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Worton; second wife, Carolyn Worton; son in law, Timothy Ward; brother, James Worton.  David was retired from Indianapolis Power and Light after 30 years of service.  He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.  David enjoyed fishing, country music and western movies.  He was a kind, loving and generous man who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his sons, David (Jennifer) Worton, Kevin (Holly) Radican, Brian (Dawn) Radican, Eric (Candi) Radican; daughter, Crystal Ward; father, Erwin (Betty) Worton; sister, Charlotte Worton; brother, William (Lynda) Worton; stepbrothers, Emery Huffines and 8 Mitchell step siblings; 6 grandchildren and his loving dog Sam.

Services for Mr. Worton are 2pm Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Usher Funeral Home.  Entombment will follow in Floral Park Cemetery.  Friends may call from noon until the time of services on Saturday.
