Boyd Harris, III

Boyd "JR" Harris, III, 54 of Indianapolis passed away September 27, 2015. He was born August 20, 1961 in Indianapolis.  Boyd was retired.  He had worked as a Laborer and was employed out of the Laborers Union, Local 120.  He had also worked at the Howard Johnson's in downtown Indianapolis.  He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Harris; daughters, Shana (Robert, II) Grever and Nola (Charles Kopp) Harris-Hunt; parents, Boyd, II and Lula Harris; sisters, Pamela White, Cathy Cummins, Cindy (Roger) Arnold, Sandy (Timothy) Cox, Jackie (Christopher) Dimiceli, Sharon (Keith) Carson; grandchildren, Justin (Jessica Caffery) Hunt, Robert (Jordain Kinnett) Grever, III, Karinna Grever, Logan Grever, Ezekiel "Zeek" Caffery; great grandchildren, Landon Hunt, Grayson Hunt, Raelynn Grever; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Boyd's life will be held 3pm Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at the Usher Funeral Home.  Friends may call on the family from 12pm until the time of services on Wednesday.  Online condolences may be offered at usherfuneralhome.com.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family, in care of the funeral home to assist with the funeral expenses.
